A Superstition Sunset

The sun sets and unveils a flamboyant show of colors across the dreamy desert sky, leaving me miles from sleep.

Lost Dutchman State Park. 320 acres of legend, lost treasure, and the footprints of those who dedicated their lives in search of it. Deep in the desolate desert wilderness of the Superstition Mountains, among the quiet creatures who roam free, I entered my portal to paradise. A peaceful place and time that's still frozen at the forefront of my mind. I'm standing tall and proud on a big round rock, grinning from ear to ear, while the cacti protest the sunset. A beautiful mix of energy, calm, and contentedness courses through me and the only thing I hear is the subtle sound of my own breath. The world changes colors right before my eyes until darkness descends and the ethereal light of the moon and countless stars guides me home.
